Chinese Medicine have been of interest to me and recently I just finished a project work about Chinese Medicine and stress, it can be viewed here: HONG KONG STORIES Private Life Balance stress with Chinese medicine
In Hong Kong the government are spending large funds on Chinese Medicine, tens of millions is being spent to transform herbs into powder alone. That will keep the strength of Chinese herbs and making them easier to prepare. Hong Kong government facilities today have a capacity over 500,000 pills/capsules per day, see link: Hong Kong Institute of Biotechnology (HKIB)
The student I interviewed during my project work, Lam Lam, I contacted her again and throughly described my sweating/heat intolerance/blushing/palpitation problems. Tomorrow I will go to the University clinic and get this powder herbs. I am not sure for how long I am supposed to take them, but there should be possible to see slight improvements within a month.
Combined with acupuncture this can give some relief. As we know, the medical world doesn't understand HH fully, but it is believed to be related to Sympathetic Nervous System overactivity, especially anxiety sweating. Recent science and reports shows clearly that acupuncture decrease Sympathetic Nervous System activity. See links:

Tomorrow I will also learn some acupressure points to practice every evening. I plan to begin with acupuncture in January, after having seen what the herb powder alone can do.
I know a lot of people don't "believe" in Chinese medicine and that it is not widely available in many countries - especially it's hard to get payment reliefs from any insurance. But I live in Hong Kong now, where the government have included in their law to make the city "an international centre for educations, research and treatment in Chinese medicine".
That means one of the best quality treatments available, and on top of that I have a student discount making every acupuncture session some 25-30 USD.
I'll give this a shot and keep you all updated.
