Ashwagandha

It is an Indian herb (I'm from India so I get it easily)..
Ive been using it for a while now..and it is VERY good at reducing anxiety and making me calmer..though I use 3-4caps when dosage is 2caps/day max(250mg/cap).I find it easier to do things now..and just being calmer and happier..Give it a go..it wont be expensive for you guys..I hope it is available where you live..
Though it is not like a Clonezapam or anything..but It is quite effective at reducing anxiety and making me calm..I'd say try it out..shudnt be expensive :)

Thanks for recommending. I'm going to try this herb.

I did read that a woman suffered from a toxicose after taking a higher dosage from this herb, so you might be better off using the recommended dosage, otherwise it might become dangerous..

I bought ashwaganda and using it now since 3 days, so I can't tell anything about it yet as it's too early for that.

I did come across another herb as well that seem to have similar qualities as Aswaganda.

It is called Rhodiola rosea.
Scientific studies have proven this herb can banish stress and depression, boost your energy and brain power and even trim your waistline.

Rhodiola also calms the nervous system and help people function up to 159 % better when their stress level soars. Studies also suggest Rhodiola can triple your brain's ability to produce the blues busting hormones serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine, chasing away dark clouds in as little as 4 weeks.

It really works for me..maybe you could look into Valerien too.its supposed to be good :)
I combine them both now..quite better..nothing beats good old Benzo though.sigh.Side effects.

I wonder how they found out that the potential of this herb is 159% not a percent more, lol.
