anyone take lexapro?

Im about to be prescribed to lexapro and I was just wondering how other people react to it. Just wondering how it makes you feel...

I've been taking Lexapro for about 2.5 weeks now. I have to admit it's a pretty good Medication. Helps with a lot of the Social Anxiety things, of course it doesn't cure it. The price is'nt too friendly($100 for me uninsured).

I was taking lexapro, worked like a charm. I left it due to sleeping a lot. Just embrace for the withdrawal symptoms, when you do leave it.

I have taken Lexapro (20mg) for close to 6 months. It is a good drug for anxiety and depression but less so for social phobia. On the plus side I never got any side effects. I would recommend Lexapro to anyone, but for me I am going on Effexor (starting tomorrow) as something stronger for social phobia.

I've been on lexapro (20mg) for a few weeks, I was taking 10mg but it wasn't working that well.
The only side effects I've had are that I want to sleep alot, and the first few weeks I couldn't stop eating :?

Just embrace for the withdrawal symptoms, when you do leave it.

1st week on it: nauseous, couldn't eat, didn't feel any better. Felt somewhat better for about 2 weeks then it lost all its benefits and I was only left with side effects. Didn't help with SA. I didn't notice any withdrawal symptoms worse than how crappy I felt to begin with. Hope it works better for you.

mood swings, dizziness, unable to walk, depression, nausea

lexapro

I took 20mg of Lexapro for about two months for my SA and depression, but it had no effect on me whatsoever, good or bad. I've been thinking about trying Prozac, but have kind of held off on trying anything else.
