Does anyone else have this problem?
I am always afraid that a child will point out one of my insecurities to the known public. One time, a mother (whom I thought was attractive, which already made me very shy) came into my job with her son, and after I had started to build a comfort zone and felt natural conversing with her, her son pointed at my face and asked, "Did someone draw on your face with a marker?" He was pointing at my acne. His mother apologized all over the place, but after that, a thick barrier of uneasiness separated us, and the conversation died like a minute after.
