Hi there
I've been seeing a dermatologist for hiperhidrosis for a few years now. Tried everything: oxybutynin, beta blockers, glycopyrolate, iontophoresis... the only thing that worked on my hands is botox!
Anyway... I've been offered no solution for the lower back/crotch area. I have a feeling there may be an underlying condition or something as I feel the heat more than most, always have a desk fan running at work even with air con.
I have a real problem with lower back/crotch sweating. If you see the attached photo, that's after standing in a meeting room for only ten minutes, so it's pretty bad.
Does anyone have any ideas? I've tried talc etc. It feels like there's something raising my body temperature or something which causes me to sweat excessively and I do not know how to get referred elsewhere. Dermatologist said there was nothing she could do for that area.
