Today at work I was completely social anxiety free. The only downside to it was probably I was social anxiety free because I had another stress in my mind about something bad that had happen and I didn't really care how people thought of me or w/e because I was dwelling on a bad incident.

Where abouts in the city do you live? I just got on with a manufacturing company near Omands Creek Industrial Park off Logan & King Edward.

Whats up man...I live in Winnipeg...I actually find it the other way around, i work at a 'Great Canadian Superstore' as a cashier. When i get stressed out my anxiety kicks in really bad and i find it hard to function and do my job like i should. Besides that though the job has helped me a lot with my problem.

When I get really stressed out like with coursework and stuff I find my social anxiety gets worse... I guess cos I'm like more alert

yes, it was the same with me, I used to feel depression, when my depression came, my social phobia will be temporarily relieved.it is just because the focus point has been shifted and you don't supply any energy to you social phobia, when we fully shifted our focus point to the outside world rather than within ourslves, we will completely recover

I had the same situation at work this week. I had a really bad experiance and all of a sudden that is all I think about. My other problems are no longer relevent.

Perhaps something else could happen to take my mind off work issues, then something worse again, and again.

I suppose the positive way to look at it is that things can't be too bad if there is something much worse that could come along. You just don't know what could happen next, and you usually have no say in it.
