so do I! I dont think it is really worth avoiding them as i found that the affect on HH only lasts an hour or so, they are short term stimualants.

But it is worth trying to maintain an even blood sugar balance as low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) does causes sweating, so if you do want to eat sugar i find it best to eat it after a balanced meal. If you eat lots of sugary things without including fibre and protein your blood sugar will shoot up and then go very low. I also find i need to eat something healthy every three hours or so otherwise I get shaky, lightheaded and sweaty as my blood sugar falls.

According to my experience, it's not about the sugar either. I am on a diet right now to get in shape and I am basically not eating any sugar at all. No change what so ever in my sweating.

Caffeine, Sugar, and Spicy Foods among other things have been linked to increased sweating. Try to cut those out of you diet including soda. Also as a test avoid dairy products for a week.
