The Lord who created you says,
"Do not be afraid-I will save
you.
I have called you by name-
you are mine.
When you pass through deep
waters, I will be with you;
your troubles will not
overwhelm you.
When you pass through fire,
you will not be burned;
the hard trials that come will
not hurt you.
I will give up whole nations to
save your life,
because you are precious to
me
and because I love you and
give you honor.
Do not be afraid-I am with you!

More promises from the soverign lord God, Jehovah / Yahweh, and god does not lie.

We need a new scripture topic or something...

You feel sad for those who know something you obviously know very little about? What was that, some kind of insult? :roll: .

Regardless, bickering is pointless. You have prejustices, that much is blatant, so do many people for good reason, but it's no reason to close up.

If you actually read all of Isaiah, it describes the decadence of society and G-d's determination to destroy it and keep only a good few alive. But the way it describes the sins of the people is disturbingly modern; the same thing could be written in modern English and it would apply to most of the world's societies.
