HARD time asking for stuff

Today, I drove home thirsty because I didn't want to ask for a glass of water at a restaurant. I just really hate asking for stuff. I hate showing my face, I hate having to use my horrible voice, and I hate having to decide when to say "thank you" without it being weird and without my voice being too loud or too quiet.

Any similar problems?

You should not worry about being awkward saying thank you. A lot of people say thank you to me and sometimes I would prefer if they didn't say it. If you're going through a drive through, people aren't going to bother you or judge you unless you are dressed like a clown or naked.

Yeah..those are pretty much the same thoughts that run through my mind when I plan on asking for help or anything else. I get self-conscious as hell!! :/ Even over the phone!
