Back trouble anyone?

I have been experiencing bad, really bad lower back pain for a few months. I know at least a couple of the causes is tight hips, lack of adequate exercise and tugging around the little one around in the the baby bjorn. But now I've noticed that I have these 'lumps' or 'bumps' in my lower back, 2 of them, that when pressed on, they kind of move.

Does anyone have anything like this - or problems with their back and if so, any remedies you have found helpful?

Thanks in advance.

For me, doing yoga helps relieve back tensions and pain. You can search for yoga videos on youtube that deal with back pain.

I know back pain well. Due to the nature of my job i have injured my back a few times over the years, once really badly. I found icing it after a few gentle stretches and exercises helped ease the pain, in conjunction with some NSAID's from the doctor and regular walks helped. When your back is in pain, try to resist the urge to "rest" it, this is actually one of the worst things to do. Keeping active is key to recovery. Be aware of your posture when youre going about your daily activities, lift with your knees bent, back straight and heels planted. I have an article that helped me a great deal with my own recovery, i'll pm you the link.

Where is the pain coming from, exactly? It would be easy to tell whether or not it's pelvic tilt depending on the symptoms.

The bulges you mention sound worrisome, however...I would try to see a specialist.
