yes i had it done 3 years ago and i was fine for two and a half years and was blissfully happy now im fed up again and back to square one. So it can be done again i wasnt sure what are the chances of them growing back again for a second time do you know i cant find ewt on the net the doctor was shocked that it had come back i got an appointment with the doctor that did the operation next week its just trying to convince him to do it for a second time i went threw hell tryin to get it done the 1st time. oh so you already had the excision surgery. Maybe the sweat glands have grown back? It could be repeated.

yes im from warrington are you aswell. No the operation i had was excision of the sweat gland i asked my doctor

The operation you had must have been ETS (endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy). About the excission of sweat glands I recommend you see a dermatologist and ask them about the operation.

hello has anybody hd surgery for underarm hh the excission of the sweat glands

I have suffered with under arm sweating for 13 years. After years of bullying and living my life like a recluse went to see my doctor. He referred me to see a specialist. They told me try many products like driclor nothing worked then they tried me with botox that didnt work either. They diagnosed me with having severe hyperhidrosis and recommended i had surgery. I cannot remember the name of the operation i had done but its left me with very bad scars (that didnt bother me to much) the operation was a sucess and for 2 and a half years i was sweat free and very happy however the sweating has returned not as bad as the 1st time but the odar has come back bad. I feel like i have been given these scars for nothing and im back to living my life as a recluse and my relationship has broken down cause i dont want any one near me and im feeling very down cause i know my lifes ruined again. Has any one had an operation and its came back and would they do the surgery again.
