Yeah...
A speech is one thing. I've only done a few of these, and learnt the big things; that you have to know the subject inside-out, and upside-down. Having the presentation ready is OK, but it's the questions afterwards that eat you up. Like being on Dragon's Den.
The next speech might be at my Dad's funeral.
My real experience is in being griddled at interview, and I've learnt from hundreds of these - still far from perfect, as every one is completely unique.
A country leader is just the face of a nation - we'll never know what they're like. Crumbling under pressure is not easy to avoid - sweating in a suit in summer ain't nice. It all takes practice. I hate losing my thread - it's embarrassing.
