Ooh, this should be fun. I enjoyed my childhood very much.

1.When you were a child, what or who did you like to pretend to be?
I actually didn't really pretend to be anything. I was just myself.

2.Where was your secret hiding place?
Hm... I think I had a few. There was the other side of my parent's bed in their bedroom when we lived in our first house, underneath the stairs outside when we lived in our apartment, when I met my best friend we would always hide/hang out on her porch (she lived in an apartment too) and sometimes in the little alleyway that was right next to the building.

3.Where did you most enjoy visiting?
My best friend's house. I was ALWAYS over there. Those were the best two years of my life before I moved.

4.What toys do you remember as your favourites?
Legos! :D Playstation with Spyro the Dragon and the NES with Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros. 1 & 3, and Shadowgate. I loved coloring books and crayons and drawing. Oh, and I had a huge collection of Puppy In My Pockets that I loved to play with. Is it bad I still have those somewhere? And I had a huge dollhouse, which I played with those dogs in.

5.What foods did you like the best?
McDonald's Chicken Mcnuggets, PB&J sandwiches, Oreos, Little Debbie Zebra Cakes and the Chocolate Chip Cakes, Mondo juice drinks, Kool-Aid, cereal, spaghetti, pizza, steak, pierogies, etc. I was actually a really picky eater as a kid. Loved junk food, didn't like much of anything else. I'm the complete opposite of that now.

6.Any songs that remind you of your childhood?
Yeah. Am I listing them here? No, they're too embarrassing. ::eek::

7.What big events were happening in the world that you can recall?
I didn't watch or pay attention to the news much as a kid (does any kid for that matter?), but I do remember hearing about the sheep cloning, I vaguely remember the Lewinsky Scandal with Clinton, Harry Potter being published (this was a very important event too!), Columbine massacre, 2000 presidential elections, George Bush taking office, 9/11 and the events that followed, Space Shuttle Comlumbia disaster... Yeah that's about it.

8.What was your favourite colour?
Blue. It still is, one of them anyway.

9.Any stand-out good memories?
I have a lot of great memories from my childhood. One that jumps to mind is when my aunt and my uncle decided to take my brother and I out for ice cream one evening during the summer. We then went to Cape May and parked on a dock just to watch the sunset. It was so awesome and pretty. Cape May always has the prettiest sunsets.

Oh, and also I remember once when I was over my friend's house, we were just hanging out and eating lunch after being annoyed by the neighbor kids again. They were constantly annoying us, making all this racket and sometimes they'd even try to start fights and argue with us. Anyway, I recall my annoyed friend saying, "I'm just going to call her Horsey from now on." I ask, "Why?" "Because they always call her Nay Nay for some stupid reason and horseys go neigh." That still cracks me up, I don't know why.::p:

Okay one more, and then I'll stop. This is too much fun. Another day at my friend's house, we were bored and just hanging in her kitchen (we did that alot). Well her little brother pours himself a glass of Sprite, takes a sip, and then leaves to use the bathroom. We decided to pull a prank on him. We took his Sprite, dumped it, and replaced it with vinegar. He came back and took a huge sip and I don't think I've ever seen someone move that fast to a sink. Ha! Greatest day ever!

10.Favourite children's books?
Pretty much every Dr. Seuss book there is, Beverly Cleary, which I also read every single one, Junie B. Jones, Magic Treehouse books, Harry Potter (Didn't start reading this until I was 10 though.), Corduroy, Dear America (Didn't read all of these either, but they were great! I love historic fiction.)

1. I don't know. I mean, I always pretended that I was some sort of superhero, but no one in particular.

2. Under people's bed. It still is::p:.

3. Space museums and Cici's Pizza.

4. Gundams, The Corps, Beyblades

5. Pizza and Cinnamon Rolls. Ramen Noodles too.

6. The theme song to Dexter's Laboratory? I don't know, I didn't listen to much music at the time!

7. 9/11 is a big one. My class made me write a journal on it and my family still has it, which they show to me on a regular basis! I'm sure there are some others, but I can't remember them at the moment. I wasn't really into the news then.

8. Silver. Still is.

9. Me spending all of my second grade year flirting with a girl I liked::eek::. I openly showed her affection and attention, even when my teacher was talking or we were doing work. I always used to scoot my chair over to hers and talk to her and she'd smile at me and laugh. Unfortunately, "things happened" and I had to move away.

My three-day field trip is another one. I had to go to this country-esque place called Sky Ranch. Fun times those were.

I also gave a speech in front of my entire 5th (or was it 4th?) grade because we were going on a field trip to this place that was going to simulate the real world and we were deciding who would become mayor. It was really embarrassing, especially when I had to go to one class and I had to give it in front of that girl I previously mentioned. Of course, things had changed between us and I could barely even talk to her. I just kept looking at her and she smiled at me again and that was what pushed me to the end. Hehe, it seems my best memories were made with her::eek::. I'll never forget them.

Then there was the time the 6th graders, which, of course, included me, got to take over the school and the teachers' jobs. I had the distinguished honor of being vice principal and my friend was principal:cool:! We just walked through the school, checking on the other students and seeing how they were doing. It seems that leadership positions are also a recurring theme in my story!

10. Hank the Cowdog and Animorphs. Oh yes, Goosebumps and Harry Potter too!

I have a 2 I can think of.

1: My dad use to teach me how to play the guitar on our back porch.

We would play Led Zeppelin's Back Dog, AC/DC's She Shook Me ALL Night Long, Judas Priest You've Got Another Thing Comin', and many more, but those are my favorites. I know those bands aren't exactly classic rock, but you get the gist.

2: One time when me and my dad were at the beach and I brought my inner tube, which was very small, we were messing around and my dad decided he wanted to try and fit it on his leg, Next thing I know he's under water with his leg floating in the air and he couldn't get it off. So, what I see is him resurfacing saying, " Krista!" * Glop glop glop* " I can't!" * Glop glop glop*
"Get it!" * Glop glop glop* "Off!"....I should have helped but I was laughing to hard.
