I was voted "most shy" for class of 2008. No one ever talked to me, but apparently knew of me well enough to know my name. All the time which i thought i was invisible and it ends up that four years later 85-90 percent of the school (according to the enthusiastic advisor in charge of yearbook) voted for me.
If the shyness ever changes ill go just to prove everyone wrong. If it doesn't then i guess they really were right.

I went once, cause nowadays I'm not as shy as I used to be. I think time cures shyness, at least in my case. Whereas I was always extremely introverted and ridiculously polite, I feel I've ended up tending to be insolent and shameless in some situations showing a certain antisocial out-of-line rudeness. Somehow, breaking correctness rules on purpose or not eliminates emotional tension caused precisely by these rules.

how did you find out, maybe just couldn't find you

i wish it were something as simple as that...truth is, i'm easily found ...anyone can google my maiden name and find my address and phone number (glorious privacy violating internets;) )

I found out bc an old friend passed away and through being told about that, through the grapevine i managed to hear about the reunion.

eh...i'm kinda over it i guess. i probably wouldn't have felt comfortable there anyway. why torture myself

the same **** happened to me...I received the prize for the most shy student in the class..really stupid and embarissing...

no I won't go to the reunion...I wouldn't be happy to see them, they wouldn't be happy to see me..so it's better like this.

Absolutely not. I have a 10-year reunion in 2013 which might take place. I will certainly not be going to that. I wouldn't be able to stand seeing all of them. Plus they'll ask what I'm doing and what's going on with my life, so it'll be embarrassing to say, "not much. Low-paying job. Still living with mum and dad. Depressed all the time." Yeah, stimulating. See you in another decade!

I've forgotten the names of most of the students, that's the way I like it. Why the hell would I want to revisit purgatory, six years was enough?

I did not go to mine as the only 2 girls I hung around were on the list of people they could not find to send an invitation to. So I would have had no one to talk to. No thanks.
They're just a "my life is better than yours" competition imo anyway.

Well, jeez, I wish I had one to decline to go to.
But, from what you guys are saying, this has turned out to be a good thing.
High school is apparently hell.

This is exactly what I'd be afraid of. Who's got the better social standing? I won't buy into that.

So your high schooling was a complete disaster like mine, Mikey?
Year 7 was good. Year 8 was better. Year 9 it all fell to pieces and is the root reason why I am the way I am now. From then on my life was never the same. How disastrous was yours?

Hell started in Year 8 for me. Year 12 was OK, but my HSC marks were not good. That high school stuffed my life.

Yeah, once year 12 came along it got a little easier for me, too, but the damage was done. And, like you, my HSC marks suffered big time because of my depression and lack of motivation for everything. I guess we were in a similar boat. ::(: Sorry to hear you went through all that, mate.

I'm definetely going! Mines 2015 so still got a few years. Me and my two friends are just going to go and mess with everyone. We haven't worked out the details yet but I still know it will be fun. Hahaha spike the punch or something lol. Dress up as Darth Vader. Orrrrrrrrr, have me and one of my friends stage a huge brawl or something, over something completely stupid, come on people start giving me ideas, my crazy rating is pretty high so I will pretty much do anything lol.

^ Why don't you just do all of the above? ;)

I found out the other day my class is planning on having a reunion. Not sure when it will be, since we just graduated, but I still don't plan on going. I hardly hung around with my class, not to mention half of them just teased me throughout high school and were nothing but immature morons.
