wierd effects

What's the wierdest side effect you've had from medication? I personally am pretty good where side effects are concerned, the only one i have ever had was when i was on zoloft and i lost the ability to orgasm. I had some frustrating times on that bloody pill - because when you are deprived of something you want it all the more. Lucky zoloft wasn't really working for me so i wasn't faced with any conflict over discontinuing use of it. Would any of you guys give up your orgasm for medication?

yeah, i'm on paxil right now... i'm with you redlady. and i don't want to go to my doc and be like "yeah, i don't want the pills b/c i need a sex life and the ability to orgasm" to this old decrepid lady... just... no... zoloft just made me unbelievably tired.

I don't orgasm anyway, so I wouldn't be giving anything up. If the medication worked, I'd take it.
The weirdest side-effect I've had from a med... tough one, I've had a lot of side-effects. Prozac gave me bizarre and vivid dreams, azathioprine gave me hepatitis. Those are my weirdest I think.

When i was on seroxat about 3 years ago now i was urinating semen
I dare not tell my Dr how embarrasing that would have been but i was very concerned and it didn't stop for about 3-4 months after i stopped taking seroxat

Also orgasms seemed very painful and tedious if i did actually manage to have 1!

Anti-depressants definatly kill your sex life, which i thought was a good thing because hormones are evil :evil:

Yeah guys i'm with you there's no way i would tell my doctor about that stuff. In a rational state i would say to myself "she's a doctor, an intelligent woman who would probably completely understand my predicament and not try and make me feel silly or ungrateful in any way".
Too bad that type of thinking doesn't rule my mind.

I doubt that this problem was related to the medication. It is a problem which I had myself for a while in my younger years and I was not taking any medication whatsoever. I think that it is a hormonal thing. It is something which I have never spoken to anyone about before and I am glad to see that I am not the only one to have had it.

The worst side effect that I have had was extreme sweating. I was playing a lot of sport at that time as well so it was an awful problem.

I also lost the ability to orgasm whilst on prozac but then again I wasn't getting any at the time so it didn't bother me too much.
I also got really vivid dreams with prozac - quite disturbing ones sometimes (things like dead children on swings - that one always stuck in my head). :?

Ye i had the wierdest dreams ever on anti-depressants
I didn't know reality from my dreams half the time because my dreams did seem like reality

I don't think i ever had evil dreams though they were very intresting most of the time, i used to love them
