Well of course because i want to be loved and bla bla...

But i have to say i'd like to have a girlfriend so the the people wouldnt think im weird, im 21 and never had one and my family just keeps asking when im gonna find one... so frustarting...
Personaly i wouldnt mind, i made my peace with the fact i'll never have a girlfriend, but the society dictates us that its "normal"...

I always get asked when I'm going to get married.

How 'bout 8. Studies have found single men have more health problems and live shorter lives than married men? So, unless there's a way to marry someone without dating....haha.

This is probably true which is worrying.

I've always been single, i'v lost hope in finding anyone so i've stopped caring about my health etc.

None of the above. I want a boyfriend because I think falling in love helps you grow as a person. Everyone needs that experience. I also crave intimacy and a confidant I can tell anything to.

Anyone who thinks another person will cure them of their problems is a very unexperienced. You are the only one with the power to solve your problems. It's the equivalent of asking someone to breathe for you, eat for you, or sleep for you. They can only do those things for themselves.

Not all single people want or need a girlfriend or boyfriend. To be fair there should be a seventh option with that choice.

The actual fact is, we don't need a girlfriend and boyfriend.

People live perfectly happy single...... If only it was that easy.

i dont want 'a' bf, necessarily. just 'my' bf back... & although i said 'to share things', its really all of the above, and more. just to have someone with you that makes your heart beat slower & faster at the same time & to know that they feel the same way...its such an amazing feeling, like nothing else. but in reality, having a bf/gf is easy...its whether or not theyre the one you want...
sry guys. im in a depressed mood.

Mainly because it's an uncontrollible impulse for me, other than that, I'm not sure why...

Yes, I agree with this. Every human has at least some uncontrollable desire to have a b/f or g/f.

I guess for me I'd want a girlfriend mainly so I'd have someone to connect with that is a woman. I like talking to attractive women more than I like talking to men, so it would be nice to share my life with an attractive woman that loves me and understands me. There are times when I'm just so bored, and that would be really nice to just sit beside a girl that I connect with and talk about life.

companionship,to have someone always by my side and who supports me,AND YES to be happy, dont kid yourself someone who never has contact with the positive sex will not be happy regarding relationships, they will feel unhappy when they think of it,not saying it will solve my problems or it will be perfect, some people always think this when someone says what I said, mostly when guys say what I said,I guess people look down on guys who actually want to comit to something beautiful or that makes them happy, how surprising,I know it wont cure my problems nor it will be perfect, every relationship is like this, with your father, mother, family,BUT STILL MAKES ME HAPPY to have my relation with them.

1. Companionship.
2. Companionship.

...yes I am lonely, how'd you guess?::p::rolleyes:

I know a decent guy who's single and lonely. Unfortunately I've never seen a mutually beneficial relationship between a hawk and a small rodent. ;)

I have several reasons: to experience a mutual and beneficial love, to grow as a person, to have an emotionally intimate relationship with someone, to have someone whom I can talk to about anything and everything, and to be able to just be with someone. Someone to hold, to sit with, to just be with. And there is a small part of me that always looks for a girl who is broken or damaged in some way. Some part of me that says "maybe I can help her...."

Actually, I think I've always wanted to do something that involves "saving" people. I'd probably be more content in life if I did something where I could help people on a regular basis.

Too bad the township isn't hiring superheroes right now....
