i know you should be attracted to human race but you can't tell none o you guys are not attracted to a specific race though :idontknow:

I'm not entirely sure what you're saying there, but if I understand you correctly, I've never noticed in myself any particular preference for any of the phenotypic variations.

sorry i made spelling mistakes, i meant to say that three people i responded to that they can't tell me that they are not attracted to a specific race

you say you are not attracted to a phenotype, idk what a phenotype is but i would assume that is a specific trait in a race right?

Correct.

I am not attracted to a specific 'race'.

I use the word in quotes because I find 'race' to be a clumsy and misleading term. Is a person's 'race' defined by their appearance? By their ancestry?

The phenotype is just the outward appearance, and the genes underlying it can be (and usually are) a mix of all sorts of ancestral lines.

That's kind of my point. It's a stupid term and very loosely defined. A woman can be what most people call 'black', make a baby with a 'black' man, and the kid comes out 'white'. Was there a race change all of the sudden?

Then when people try to categorize (because people love to categorize other people), there's a lot of pegs that don't fit exactly into any hole at all for various reasons.

If you try to categorize by the genetics, it's just as stupid because those are all mixed up as well.

when has that happen with the black women and black men? If that did happen that might have been a genetic mutation or either one of the parents have white in them and had a recessive gene or whatever its called.

Yes, that happens quite a bit actually. Just like when both parents have brown eyes and their kid has blue.

The categories of 'race' are largely artificial, usually superficial, and almost entirely pointless.
