SIBERIAN HUSKY FTW!!!!!!

Siberian-Husky.jpg

My aunt has one of these beauties and I don't think I've ever fallen in love with a breed of dog as much as this one. They've got the most beautiful eyes, they're very loyal, very affectionate, and VERY active and playful. Although, I would only suggest getting this breed if you have a good amount of time to spare for walking and exercising the dog, playing with it, and just being an owner it could rely on to train and love it properly. They were bred as working dogs and need all the exercise they can get. Once you move into the new house, the big yard will be essential for the husky to play and run around in.

I don't think I'd ever "buy" a dog. So many are freely available aka without homes.

True. You never know what might happen when dealing with breeders either. My mom and I had to return the Westie we bought because it had so many skin and mouth problems.

i adore my dog! she has definitely been with me through a lot and always puts a smile on my face! i seriously love her like she's my own child, no lie :)

anyway, yeah, i love labs, too! labs and golden retrievers are absolutely amazing dogs! they are very loyal and loving, it's easy to train those types of dogs because all they want to do is to make you happy.. it would be a little tight having a big dog like a lab in your apartment, but as long as you take him/her out often and he/she gets plenty of play time then it should be fine :) and anyway, you said you'd be moving soon to a house so that's good...

i'll always recommend a cocker spaniel after having my first one (the dog i spoke of earlier) ..she is my heart!! love her so much! they are great inside dogs and love to play.. such sweet pups and are easy to care for.. whichever you choose, good luck! i'm sure you'd love any dog, they're all amazing pets!

this is my cocker spaniel, bailey jane : )
YouTube - bailey hates her diaper...
lol, she's silly..

Pit bulls!!!! They have a bad rap, but that is just because *******s train them to be mean. They are actually really sweet and really smart dogs. Plus they are athletes, they can jump high and hang from ropes by their jaws. I like to by them from backyard breeders, because I know that I am saving them from being bought by some dick who will fight them, or some gangster who will teach them to attack people. They are cute and strong and misunderstood. Thats why I love them!!!!:cool::cool::cool:

Yup couldn't agree lovely dogs,as you see in the video he is so submissive and such a softy :).Though sadly illegal to have in the UK due to idiots giving them a bad name.I had to give him up anyway as he needed specialist training and somewhere with a huge garden...he must of been traumatized my somthing at some point as he was scared to be outside and needed professional training ::(:

I only had one dog when I was a kid,it was mixed,it was huge.

anyway this site has a lot of information, dont know how accurate, keep in mind that there are some breeds which require a lot of attention,a lot of people dont know how to care for dogs and think they can, dont be one of those.

Well said!!! My grandmother owned a Pitbull when I was much younger and all I can say is that dog was a saint. She let me ride her back all the time as a kid and even curled around me and let me use her as a pillow. These dogs are simply amazing and they definitely don't deserve the reputation they're getting thanks to these violent owners

y'all are right about the pitbulls... it's all about the owner and the full history/upbringing of the dog.. that's sad they're banned in the UK :(

whenever i'm out on my own the next dog i want is a rottweiler.. they're gorgeous and extremely loyal. they're work horses, they've been bred to care for and protect their home and family.. you don't have to raise them to hate everyone but you, but they're very smart and keen on 'bad seeds' i guess, haha.. it's a good dog for a girl to have living on her own.. especially since my cocker spaniel would just want to love on any intruder, lmao

The first two dogs we had we got for free from a breeder we knew. The fox terrier was pretty healthy, but the whippet had a tendency to run into things. You see, they run fast and aren't very good at turning....

Our latest one came from a shelter, where we had to pay a "donation," as opposed to a "price" or a "fee." Same thing, different words.

I dont know what snip means could you clarify for me what you meant?

snip: To cut, clip, or separate (something) with short, quick strokes.

So instead of quoting everything you wrote, Danfalc replied to your post without repeating it. It's nothing bad, just a way of cutting down on the endless repeating of other people's words in quotes on this site. Or maybe he has a secret desire to chop, slice, and cut everything he possibly can. :D
