When I watch TV, I misses other activities

When I watch TV, I get the feeling that I misses other activities like playing games. When I play games, I feel that I missing programs in TV. When I watch a TV channel, I feel like I'm missing something interesting on a another channel. This is same to other things too.

I also get negative thoughts.

Try and prioritize your activities. Create a scale from 0-10 and put a grade on your daily activities. For example watching TV has a 5 and playing games has a 7. First play games for a period of time you wish and then watch TV.

You can not do both at the same time but your mind will have an assurance because you are doing the most important thing first.

Might be getting a false sense of doing something important from both. Your brain looking for something meaningful and not being satisfied with what it finds.
