I'm unsure what you mean by "Bible bashing" --- Because I said-- "ask in earnest"?

If so- I said that because, if we are only willing to accept God's answers and help, on "our terms", we are not sincere and might as well pray to a wall...

Anything I say - "is my opinion" - Please read what he has to say for yourself and pray for clarity.

In reference to you're statement -- Oh...I feel much better now!!

Perhaps, that is because you said what you felt in you're heart instead of saying what you're " -suppose- to say and feel" (so to speak) or another way of putting it- "going along with the crowd" and instead, did what was right.

-That shows maturity.

Nice post and sorry about the "bible bashing" phrase...it's just my slant on things.
I felt better at the end because I supported you and you deserved support...looked like I was the only one doing it too. I reckon some people just see the word "bible" and dismiss a poster straight away. This is a lesson in reading objectively before dismissing someone. And I can be quite the dismissive one myself!

I know it may sound corny but sometimes when I am feeling really down, I just take a walk, watch my city's landscape, all the places that bring back good memories with my earphones in and it just makes me suddenly... happier. I think of something that was positive in my life, I think OF my life which actually has been pretty good for me.

So summing up, I guess what keeps me alive most of the time is... life. The beauty of life, of everything surrounding me. It is just ME who demages the picture.
