We had that weather pattern come through 48 hours ago, some high rises down at Glenelg lost their entire roof's.

I hope your roof holds up LoyalXenite.

We've had the severe winds 24hrs a day, for the past 2 days. Today has that eerily calm feel - like after a cyclone has passed.

I hate windy weather, it sets off my anxiety coz I constantly worry about a fence breaking and the dogs getting out and hurt or lost. Then I worry about the garage not holding up and then I'd have to live in a damn tent

Big bad storm is supposed to hit tomorrow..

" low pressure system over central parts of Australia is moving east. This system is expected to enter the northwest of New South Wales today and then track southeast, rapidly intensifying as it crosses the coast about the Greater Sydney area during Wednesday. Intense rainfall and vigorous winds are expected to impact parts of the Illawarra and Greater Sydney area on Wednesday"

HEAVY RAIN which may lead to FLASH FLOODING, DAMAGING WINDS, averaging 60 to 70 km/h with peak gusts in excess of 90 km/h

Normally at this time of year we're well into the start of the heat, and heatwave season.. instead its windy af and theres some ripper storms coming in

Apparently the storm thats meant to come tomorrow has hit early

**EDIT**
Apparently this isnt the big storm, this is another from the south thats bringing hail instead of the flash flooding one thats coming tomorrow  :crying:

Funnel Cloud warnings today-
Had one a few weeks ago take out a trailer near a shopping mall 1/2 a mile from here.
Weird weather..
Loving the mornings of heavy fog though going into winter. This fall the tress were outstanding. I will miss all the leaves now they are almost gone.

I had to google what funnel clouds were coz we dont get them anywhere that I've lived. They are actually rather pretty (though the fact that they can become tornados is pretty scary

So far we're going ok, but its only noon and its supposed to be continued storms until evening when it lessens to normal rain... but so far so good

Just had to dig a quick little trench of sorts in the grass to help some of the water drain away coz it was starting to come through the door.. luckily the trench has helped

**Edit to avoid taking over the thread**

The little trench saved me from the flooding, I got quite lucky, some of the areas about an hour north of my got some real bad flooding so Im lucky
