University in New Zealand

Hi all! I'm going back to university having dropped out because of SA and because I've always like New Zealand I'm thinking of joining on of the universities there for the Spring semester. I'm hesitating between Auckland and Canterbury but I heard good things about Otago University... If anyone had any advice I would really appreciate it!

I'd say it depends what sort of environment you want. Auckland citys pretty big but if you like the hustle and bustle its probably the place. Dunedin where Otago is is alot smaller so its probably more laid back but I understand the students down there can get a bit rowdy. Canterburys probably somewhere in between.

Hey! Thanks for the info, I'm leaning towards Canterbury at the moment, the environment seems ideal and I know someone who goes there. Thanks again for replying!

They certainly can! :lol:

The day before I visited the city, the tv news featured how students had been rioting there the night before!

Can't say I'm surprised. Drinking and rioting seem to be very big down there. :lol:
