treatment for anxiety,depression, PTSD?

It's a pity they couldn't isolate the chemicals in it, that can fix these issues, but not have the "dangerous" hallucinagenic/etc part (ie so the chemical/extract could be legalised)

Interesting, I'm open, but also very sceptical since I've known 3 people who's schizophrenia was triggered, not cured, by drug use

Supposedly I can wander around in cow fields and find them growing on cow turds but not sure I feel very inclined to at the moment.
Though stuff like that can be pretty risky so better off finding other means if looking for treatment.

I think if anything the walking around looking for the mushrooms would help besides the actual taking of them.

Not really sure on this forum's stance on illegal substances so not gonna talk too much about my thoughts on them lol.

well lets not mention where penicillin can be found . lol

but anyway, that type of mind set is understandable . most people seem to not know much about the medical applications of substances like this partly because they've been illegal for so long that most scientists have a hard time getting their hands on these substances for study.

apparently Research Triangle Park is the only place in the whole country where peyote is allowed (by the federal government) to be grown for research.

kind of makes me wonder why the feds are keeping such a strangle hold on these substances even simply just for scientific research by professionals.

although, I agree about it all being a bit risky for human consumption due to the lack of knowledge about how different people react to the chemical compounds in them...but all in all, if they have the potential to help people with psychological/emotional issues then I think they should at least be studied more extensively..instead of being kept under lock and key (for the most part) by the feds .

and to clear things up: I'm not talking about drugs or advocating use of drugs. I'm talking about potential MEDICINE.
