Thank you, I really want to pursue music as a career but I can't really be as successful as I want to be as long as I have this social phobia crap.

Maybe you could use your talent to reach out to others who are hurting... Like go to into hospitals and sing to sick children, or find a cause that you want to promote and use your talent to draw support... Maybe that would help give you the strength? I do think that fame becomes a curse to a lot of people, because talent like that defnitely puts you in the eye of everyone around you, and people can be cruel... But music has the power to heal, too. I hope that you find a way that it can bring you happiness in your life.(((HUGS)))

This might sound weird and even hypocritical, but you should try and find a few other musicians in your area and play in a few local gigs.

I'm just about to start playing guitar and I'm 22! One of my regrets is not learning sooner. You're 16? Awesome.

I have a youtube account which I make videos on but I have never made a video about social anxiety or anything like that. I have no trouble making videos on youtube of me being silly and making blogs yet I can't do something simple in the outside World like getting on a bus, which I find really hard to do. I suppose that everyone is different really.
I'm going to go look at videos on the topic on youtube and then make my own too.
