My SA has gotten better to the point where it is not an issue for me at all!
Only rarely, I would have a moment where I will be in a new situation and a wave of it hits me again but I just stay calm and work on overcoming it.
I think it is through facing my fears and forcing myself into situations that I have learned ways to challenge my phobia and have broken the vicious cycle of it.
I am really proud of my achievements, I have reached this point through reading up and learning as much as I could on the phobia, reading on these forums about other peoples experiences and by building up a really good support network around me, my boyfriend, sister and close friends. I think what was most important was the belief I instilled in myself that I could overcome this!
So good luck with everyone still battling it, you can do it!!
