Me to, I haven't seen it in a while but I remember it being powerful. It forces you to face your own addictions, or at least shocks you out of forming new ones. Defiantly a great film.

Dunno why but ever since I was 16 this song would bring tears to my eyes. It is probably the only song that I can't listen to without getting a little teary eyed, even now.

I think I treated it a little like a personal anthem of sorts when I first started struggling with depression and listening to it now brings back memories from my teenage years.

I know it isn't what the song is actually about but to me it seemed to be telling the story of a young man struggling with his own demons while trying to find love and happiness in this world. To me it is a sad song because you can tell that he is trying his best to make the most of each breathing moment. Life can be tragic but it makes those few short moments of bliss even more beautiful.

The sad songs I like are sad in different ways, with different coloration, so I can't pick the saddest one, but I pick this mesmerizing, refined melancholy song. Only a dreamer with Nick's sensitivity can write something so otherworldly beautiful and delicately touching... and he left us so early. Hope you like it!
