What's Worse. People Hating You Or Feeling Sorry For You?

I think hating someone is worse; you just walk passed the person and you feel the hate coming off of that person. It makes me very uncomfortable and I'm unable to concentrate. I've had people feel sorry for me before and they never really bothered me: instead they were always trying to be helpful towards me & suggest things to me if they saw that I was troubled with a certain situation. Hating someone takes so much energy out of you, it can wear you down & the feeling itself is horrible. The hate continues to stick with you, until you forgive that person if you're hating them for something they did to hurt you.

Hate is worse than pity, I think. But I don't like being pitied either. I don't know why, but I really don't like that.
