nice and kinda romantic. I was helping an old neighbor friend of mine with his cows in the mountains and the shoe-lace on my riding boot was untied, he got off his horse and tied it for me while I was in the saddle. So cute. I never forgot it.

Back in like 7th grade we would get candy for stacking chairs. I forgot the exact context but a rather popular kid gave me his. I asked "Why?", in which he responded "Because you're my friend."

Needless to say I almost broke down in tears, a bit of a soft moment in my life.

I don't know if this is the nicest thing, but it sticks out in my mind.
I was in PE class in middle school and was playing four-square with a group of girls. This one time it was really debatable whether or not the ball hit my square, but I just said "it's ok, I'm out". One of the girls I was playing with comes up to me, gives me a bear hug, and says something like "you get a hug for being so honest".

It was just out of nowhere, but man I really needed that hug. I had never been hugged like that before and haven't had a hug like that since.

someone gave me 100$ once because I couldn't afford my next wave of hormones. My friend let me sleep on his couch for like a year because I lost my apartment lol.

I was very nervous about leading a discussion at a convention, and a casual friend offered to co-lead with me. I was so relieved. I probably would've freaked out if I had really had to do it by myself.
