Best way to stop procrastinating?

force yourself to do tasks. this is what works for me. It may be hard at first, but once you get going, you feel better. also, finding things to do and occupying your time better can cut down on procrastination.

Why do I feel tired when I feel depressed, and feel energetic when I'm in a good mood ?

lethargy is a symptom of being depressed. naturally when our spirits turn for the better, we have more energy, which explains why you feel energetic. Ask the doctor to prescribe youo Nardil. It's a great med, and helps with depression and anxiety.

Thanks for the tip uncle Kyle, but no thanks.

Side effects for Nardil

"Common side effects include orthostatic hypotension, dizziness, headache, fatigue, insomnia, sexual difficulty (esp. ejaculatory dysfunction), and urinary hesitancy. Most of these side effects dissipate with time and/or careful adjustments of the dosage."

I don't have knowledge on this medication personally, but after looking up the side effects on wikipedia, I'm not sure if it's worth it.[/b]

Just to let you know Angel_Of_Death those side effects are common with most of the anti anxiety medication available today.

I haven't really done any research about any type of medication, but have recently thought about it considered it as an option. Those side effects kinda scare me tough, I already experience fatigue, dizziness and stuff like that...I wouldn't wanna make it worse.

Therapy is probably my only solution, not sure how far it's going to get me, but I have to over come my SP if I wanna have a happy life and achieve things I want to.

In my experiences, NArdil has arguably less side the effects than the newer and "safer" meds. You just have to worry about medication interactions with Nardil....

What makes you an expert? Really that's my first question!

Maybe you meant this as a joke...but anyways, I don't think Kyle claims himself to be an expert, but it's great if we can help each other with our SA and I think that's exactly what he's doing. Also, not sure exactly what Kyle's history is as I am fairly new to this site, but I'm assuming or at least I hope that some members on this site are in the process of overcoming their SA or have made major progress in doing so, putting themselves in a better position to help out others.

I don't mean it as a joke. I don't follow any advice until I know who's giving it. I'd say that's a good thing. Especially before hopping on things like Nardil which is what UncleKyle is prescribing. I actually think Nardil appears to be quite a good drug btw.

If Nardil is working for him, then why not share it with others and let other people know it can help them. The advise I got from Kyle was to get Nardil, I made my own research and quickly found out the side effects are heavy. I decided not follow his advice but I do appreciate him trying to help others.

well. I have been on medication since 1992. I have tried Nardil, Moclobemide, Paxil, Zoloft, Serzone, Effexor, Luvox, and a few others. Nardil works the best, and I have researched it quite extensively.

The side effects are overrated I have found. Compared to the "newer" antidepressants, it makes you drowsier, but you do not feel so timid and numb as on the newer drugs. Also I find after one month the side effects tend to decrease substantially, not so with the SSRI's. Especially sexual side effects. While I may not go limp, I have trouble "shooting my load" when on the newer meds....

Uncle Kyle, what is the best way to start a conversation?

Well it all depends on the circumstances. Small talk is usually harmless. Say it's raining, and you are standing outside next to some smoker. Say "Lousy weather, eh?" If you are at a noisy place like a bar, trying using non-verbal communication like facial expressions and hand gestures.

Uncle Kyle, what is the meaning of life? Does God exist and if so, where is He? How many stars are in the sky? What is the algorithm to create true artificial intelligence, that is, a thinking machine with a conscience? She sells sea shells on the sea shore, but who's that girl? What time is the end of the world, and does it depend on time zones? What's your name, when where you born, where do you live, and what's your credit card number Uncle Kyle?
And the last question: is this post of mine really off-topic and inappropriate or not?
