after spending a couple of hours assisting the fashion models pick out their outfits yesterday, i assumed they would be here first thing this morning to pick them up (they had asked what time i'd be here)

they finally came and got the rack full of clothes i set aside fro them - an hour before the show

i was hoping to be able to spend more time with them

particularly the blonde

You should go to the fashion parade or whatever they needed the clothes for. ;)

i wish there was somewhere safe I could hide for life, and feel good forever lol that's a lot to ask for.. But I have been tired of fighting and not getting anywhere so decided to just stop caring as much. Turns out the extreme options i set aside, like "well, at least, if I ever reach a low, i can just become a _________" aren't really there and I think there is even more discomfort on this side, duh, how did I forget that? If it was that easy we'd all be giving up and turning around! Hmm ramble ramble excuse me, ramble..

Lemon & Beleza (and others) you girls are gorgeous!! I'd LOVE to be more CHOCOLATE than VANILLA too!!

(My sis was always nicely brown and never got sunburnt etc.!!)

Escape, I worry about you a bit and hope things get better??

err, the negatives - I think I posted them in another thread! lol (Just know there ARE plenty and I don't dare to rant about all of them in PUBLIC!! :) Yikes!)

There really is no hope, life is so tiring and endless. Nobody cares really, alone.


Some people are so lucky, good social support, family and friends. I have nothing.

Like for example in what? It has been already discussed here, everybody has to be selfish to some point to survive in the world and I think it´s natural - eat or die. I think everyone has its limitations with caring for and about others. Which doesn´t mean people should be inconsiderate or rude, for example like someone who talks on the public phone for ages about crap and there is a queue behind him (well before there were mobile phones), but he still looks oblivious and enjoying himself.

Yeah - there's looking after yourself - then there is selfish. It's a fine line, and depending on who you ask that line will shift. Everyone does have their limitations... some are more tolerant and patient with people than others. I do think people are overly selfish. It's just a feeling I get. Like when you see people who are desperate - their true colours begin to shine at just how far we would go to survive. We will turn on each other like wolves.

I just feel that people dont really have the desire to support one another. To show comardere and to reinforce the whole as opposed to the individual. We are afraid and vulnerable - and in order to protect and secure our survival we HAVE to be selfish.

I wonder if you could give me some examples of what "selfish" means to you? I guess there were many cases when people were hungry so they killed and ate their neighbors, do you think in extreme situation most people would do that? I think there are still many good people who show bravery for example when there was the Concordia accident, they help save others first.
