Well today I was open with my teacher in private and told her of my mental illness. Recently it's been getting worse and worse, and it lead to me returning to smoking and losing my girlfriend who I've been dating for almost a year. I'm pushing away people and living in solitude. I told her the work load is making it worse for me to, but I don't want to quit. So she offered to let me do clinical next year and the class work this year. The only thing is I can't be guaranteed a seat next year. I want to do that but I don't even know what I want to do anymore.

On my drive home I started hallucinating and could see a woman in the trees. I've never really experienced visual hallucinations, but that is a sign that I'm getting worse. Voices were screaming at me and I kept hearing ringing of my phone which was on vibrate and not going off. I kept hearing clicking sounds. I am scared of people I've been becoming paranoid and distant. I need help but all the doctors put me on waiting lists. Please help me!!

Is there a crisis hotline you can call? And there's always emergency services as a last resort (911 in US). They should be able to refer you to immediate help.

When i was hallucinating (due likely to a new medication & lack of sleep & stress), i was hearing wierd phone-ringing noises/patterns, and also clicking sounds (which i thought were the sound of a gun chamber).

My schizophrenia triggers when I am under a high amount of stress. I hallucinate at least once a day without stress.

I have experienced similar symptoms. For me it triggers the most in the middle night, when I´m drowsy and I feel half asleep. I also hear phone tones and feel non-existent vibrations in my pocket from time to time.

I haven´t taken any medication and I don´t really consider it a good idea for myself at least.

I can´t believe doctors want to pospone something like this. I would have thought Canadian health care better.

You can chat to me about it if you want but I may not help you that much because I suffer from similar symptoms and have not managed to overcome it; at least not yet. I´m sorry you are experiencing this.

This doesn't sound like anything to be concerned about, in fact it sounds quite normal. All these things are normal with fatigue or drowsiness.

The phone tones/vibrations thing could just be down to the normal tendency to expect things at certain times, a kind of placebo effect for the brain
