I sometimes wake up hugging a pillow. Not sure how that happens during my sleep

I'm a soldier. I prefer lying on my back, mainly because I also like to meditate or do relaxation exercises before I go to sleep. Not that I get any sleep these days, because of that damn hum, which I started hearing 3 years ago and it has made sleeping almost impossible. It's not like I don't have enough problems already. lol

I'm probably a yearner mostly, maybe a mix between that and log. I am slow to make up my mind at certain things, and others not slow to make up my mind. I don't see how I could be "open in nature" when I have SA, I guess I can be open in nature when I get to know someone?

I fall asleep foetus, and wake in the soldier usually.

Tho' for a while I was waking up 'coffin' style: On the back, legs together, arms folded on chest.
Very weird waking up like that...

I find it interesting how many people sleep in freefall.
I thought that was an odd/rare position to sleep in.

aha! looking at the pictures in the op really helped XD

I try to sleep in the 'freefall' position, since it's most comfortable for me.
Although I don't sleep very often, I do like to lay in bed for most of the day and just veg.
...veggin in the freefall position. haha

I prefer to sleep in bed with the foetus position, but when I wake up, it's usually the soldier or starfish position. (Also I can't believe people can actually wake up in freefaller position...lol. Wouldn't you sort of stop the air from being inhaled by your nose? )
