Adults are trying to communicate worry and concern about your situation when they do this. I had lots of friends and adults do the same things and I felt the same way, and now I learned what they were trying to do. This is very hard to deal with.
About the only thing you can do is to say, "Mom, if you're worried about me, please encourage me as that will help the most. The way you are saying things right now just does not help."
This is very difficult to do on your own. If you're looking to make real change, counseling might be the best way to go, and when you're comfortable, you can have your mom or dad come to the counselor with you. A counselor can teach them how to speak to you so that you feel uplifted, supported, and encouraged rather than embarrassed and ashamed. Hope this helps and let me know if I can be of further help!
