so every webpage I go to random words are hyperlinked.

oh joy.

malware?

I've run my malware proggy...picked up a couple things but problem still there...any suggestions before I turn to the drastic nature of completely wiping the drives from scratch?

on Firefox, I have AdBlock Plus and that's it. My JavaScript is disabled so I know it's not that. And AdBlock is working...for ads but not the hyperlinks. And when I hover over the hyperlinks, either an obscure ad or website link will appear.

Try Malwarebytes or Microsoft Security Essentials(if you're using a windows pc), both are free and awesome. I especially like Microsoft Security Essentials because it doesn't bug you unless there's a problem.
