Hi I'm new here. I think it's great other OCDers are helping each other overcome their issues.

Has anybody actually overcome OCD and regain life they way it was before OCD?

For me, my OCD is worse or rears it's head when I'm depressed or things are down. Or bad stuff around. But when feel fresh and motivated and clear and focused I can control it. It was never TOO bad but definitely can be annoying. Meditation helped too.

What kind of OCD do you have?

I've noticed that it has almost desapeared by the pasing of time. Medication is useless. Just wait and get older.

I had pure ocd, and I overcame it. I basically fought the ocd thoughts constantly, looked for reasons to why they were wrong, and trusted myself. Took a while, and it was a long and hard fight, but I did it 🙂.
