I <3 the night, especially late night. I love how there's hardly anyone around. It helps my SA a lot, because I feel like a free spirit at night with no worries. =)

I definitely love late night and early morning. For some reason when things are quiet and peaceful, I'm able to just appreciate everything more. I love the late night drives when no one else is on the road, and traffic is not even around. Then you're able to just roll down the windows and take in the summer air.

I love the night, it's pretty much the only time I ever go outside aside from days it's raining. I frequently go for walks around 3am and love how everything feels so calm and quite...also as a few people have already said rainy nights are the best ^_^ -Starts singing waiting for the night to fall by Depeche Mode-

Nothing compares to late night drives, when the world is yours alone and that mischievous feeling that comes with the knowledge that everyone else is tucked-away and sleeping thrills you.

Anyone else here walk the beach late at night? I make a point of driving to Wilmington at least twice a month during the cool of the year just for that purpose. It's fun to feel the stored heat in the sand between your toes and to imagine that you're experiencing a little bit of what took place there that day when you hold it. I like to look north and south along the coast and think about how far it must be between myself and the next person. A mile? Ten miles? A hundred?

I've always thought the whole world belonged to me after dark and that I'd never share it with anyone. I'm pleasantly surprised to find that I don't mind sharing it one bit with the rest of you.

Call me weird but my favorite time is really cloudy/dark and gloomy days. It's not bright and annoying like regular days, but there's some good illumination. I can't see shit at night, and the fact that everything is so quiet and still and most people are sleeping creeps me out. Oddly enough I'm nocturnal, but it still bothers me waking up to complete darkness. If I see a nice cloudy day through my window I feel much better.

i love night because it's dark, quiet, and everyone else is asleep. i tend to sleep all day and stay up at night- and i'm not looking forward to having to change that once i start school and work.

Ok, this thread is going to die quicker than a squirrel on the freeway, but oh well. I like to start threads. Does anyone absolutley love the night? I think its closely tied with an aversion to being around people. It feels so good to drive around and see everything just about abandoned. Yeah, weird, i know.

I am an night owl. I don't know if it's because I don't like the heat or because of the crowds and traffic during the day.
