I know this is a few days early, but hey!

I'm definitely going to start going out more, for walks, bike rides, anything! At least once a day. Also, I need some friends, so I'm going to try and make some this year xD So, what about everyone else?

That's cool! Personally, I was never really into making those and when I did, I never kept it. But, I am going to continue to work on my mental health.

I made a thread about this 2 minutes after you did so deleted it haha. Great minds ;-)

Anyway.. my resolutions (so far) are:

1) Train myself to obsess less over paranoid thoughts
2) Cook more for my parents
3) Visit at least 3 new countries
4) To continue putting my best efforts into my jobs so that I can advance in my career
5) To try and get somewhere with my writing, and not let the fear of rejection stop me from trying

1.Finally get my drivers licence.
2.Seriously Look in to and hopefully start Veterinary Tech school.
3.Get out more
4.Get some less awful people in my life.

I've never really made new years resolutions.
But this year I feel that it's necessary.
These are things I NEED to do and can no longer afford to put off.
The first two anyway....

Okay, seriously:

1. Don't be such a pushover. I have to learn to say "no" and stand up for myself. It's not an easy thing to do, but I cower away when this sort of thing happens so I've got to learn to grow a spine.

2. Stop procrastinating. I put things off a lot and that is never a good thing, even with little things. I should get off the internet once in a while!

3. Save money. I'm absolutely hopeless with money, so trying to save, even to spend it on a more expensive purchase I couldn't otherwise afford, is a good start.

I wonder if I'll even stick to any of these, or any that I haven't mentioned...?

1) I get worried over allsorts... eg. during Xmas a need to get home early to check home hasn't been invaded in the season when everyone goes away, snubbing the people you're visiting
2) wanted to do it all myself for elderly parents but they never let me
3) last country was Thailand in 2006
4) jobfinding is my occupation. I want to change that. Efforts never make any difference. I wish it could. 'working so hard' is such a flimsy expression. You either you do it or you don't. I am not lazy or stupid. Nothing ever goes wrong. People merely prevent me from working. Finding that reason is still the ultimate unknown secret.
5) Tried getting published - all my notes on several fiction / non-fiction works. As usual, with any employer, friend, etc, starting with a new publisher, submitting books on-the-go... everyone walks away

We are kindred

My new take on recruiters... nothing new since year 2000. mindless zombies. See 'em coming

I like these, great if you work on it...ignoring the thoughts part especially. I practice ignoring thoughts in Meditation daily, helps.

Not overdoing stuff, i have limitations( can't work for 8 hrs a day)..

reading good stuff to keep a positive mind. Exercise...

I used to think i need to make friends....but i already have a few meditator friends who are really understanding. IT JUST HAPPENED...i did not have to put my energies.

1. I'd like to try the masala bhangra workout, because my body could really use the techniques it uses.

2. Try to keep a blog going.

That's about it.

oh well here it goes:
Lose weight,I was doing ok,but with christmas and new years I ate a lot of food.
Exercise everyday.
Strech every day.
Study something everyday.
Get proficient in japanese, english and spanish in that order.
meet some kind friends that I can speak those languages above.
To do the TOEFl test and Japanese proficiency test this or next year.
Keep more in contact with my relatives, facebook and messaging and those stuff scares me.
To find someone kind who accepts me.

I don´t believe in New Year´s resolutions. Since I try to maintain selfdiscipline every day and it never works out, so there´s no reason believing just because it´s a New Year it will be any different.

That´s exactly how I feel ..
:kickingmyself:

But for the sake of the game/for the sake of whatever, I can say I´d really like to

Buy the surf green Fender I have been saving money for, but somehow I keep spending the money on other things ??

Going to sleep earlier and waking up earlier. Yeah that´s a classic :eek:mg:

Keep eating mainly raw food which I began doing a month ago. I might actually succeed with this, sine I´m already doing it.

For me its:

1. Make myself a priority and build my self confidence.
2. Continue going to the gym and spend more time weightlifting and less cardio.
3. Improve diet.
4. Worry less about money.
5. Do something that I am afraid to do.
