Mickey Rourke should have won the Oscar

The only actor nominated for the award who I saw in film was Mickey Rourke, but I do agree he was phenomenal in The Wrestler.
I just saw The Wrestler the other night and thought it was a great movie. I do watch wrestling sometimes. Mickey Rourke did a great job.

What a comeback for Mickey Rouke, pity bout his botched plastic surgery though.
Yeah, it was an amazing performance from Mickey, I thought he did an excellent job portraying the tortured and lonely wrestler who's fallen from grace and fame. Kinda mirrors his real life situation doesn't it? I haven't seen the movies for the rest of the nominees though except for Brad Pitt's performance from The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, so I'm afraid I can't pass judgment on this one.
