i neither love nor hate anything...not that i can't i just don't...i shove it all deep down inside and let it eat away at my soul, cause i don't want to deal with the consequences of letting it out into the world, that would involve other people and they are scary...

Ahhh! but it does have a mind of it's own! It just manifests its self differently into other peoples life's. Which is why when present it could either be good thing or it could do some damage. And therefore makes it complicated to get a complete grasp on it.

I believe you have a choice in all. You can ultimately choose what you love and what you hate. People simply don't for a myriad of reasons.. just a few could be

Hate - greed, jealousy, ignorance, misunderstanding, even love itself

Love- wanting, sexuality, longing for happiness, hate - hate for hate itself.

It is human nature to love and hate... It is humans who feel the need to label everything. The brain is one powerful tool... whatever we want - we can make happen and make ourselves believe.

Every single thing in life is a contridction - that is how we decifer right from wrong, good from bad.

This discussion can go on forever with no result or conclusion, the answer is in the question - in that it cannot have an answer.

Life = contridiction... choose your own path and leave it at that.
