I feel so guilty....

My father died when i was young and he used to be into music. He drank himself to death and a while ago i pawned his instruments without telling my mother. I deeply regret it and she would be devastated if she found out.

lately ive been feeling really guilty about this and it has been causing a lot of anxiety. It is hard to look my mom in the face and talk to her.

Do you guys have any advise?

ummm dunno what to say really , maybe you could try and make some deal with the pawn broker to get them back , like pay in instalments or something ?

Well it was a while ago and they are long gone by now.

I guess mt question is should i tell my mom or keep hiding it?

It would devastate her by the way

If you think it will devastate her, then don't tell her... unless she asks you.

Would you rather she discovered it for herself? It's time to pay the piper.

:O

I don't know what to say to this. Either way, it won't be very pretty after what you have done.
