I haven't had any friends since high school ended about 7 years ago. I've only recently started making a few proper aquaintences at university, and it's a really awkward position to be in.
How many friends do you have?

Anyway, I'm assuming we're talking about friends in real life. I have none. I've got about 10 online, which for someone who spends most of his day on a computer, is pitiful.
No friends at all. I would like to have friends but I'm not cut out for that sort of thing now. I reckon I'm not friend material.

it pains me to read this, please don't give up, there is always a chance at some point to make a friend. you just have to have some belief that it can happen.
No friends,I cant relate to any people,I also dont like insulting people as a past time,dont like to be insulted either which I often am because of my views and because of what I am,hardly put myself out there too,so that narrows to very few people I would be friends with,there is a guy who I work with,great guy,we would be friends if we didnt live so far apart I think.

i have a few people that i guess i call friends. there is only like maybe 1 or 2 people that i keep up with aside from my sister and roommate, whom i live with. i have 1 real best friend but he moved out of state almost 2 years ago and we sometimes play video games online together. but thats it really. ive always been a one good friend at a time kind of person. and they have all left me in one way or another. i find it hard to let people get close to me now and i think its because i feel like it wont last like it hasnt in the past.
No friends. It's funny... when I'm at school sometimes I do feel very lonely and wonder if I'm ever going to make a friend. Last semester me and this girl kind of got to be acquaintances. She even asked for my facebook so she could add me. I felt so happy but then it just got more awkward cause i became soo nervous not knowing what to say to her. By the end of the semester I saw she was no longer on my friends list ... which usually happens when either me or the other person unfriends. I'm sad but not miserable. I feel like there will be a day i can have friends in real life but i will have to keep pushing myself to get there. It's hard.

I have had one true friend in my life and I married him then I left him to go and live with my teenage crush. My one true friend divorced me and moved on to marry another while I spent 13 years coping with infidelity, substance abuse and empty promises from my "fantasy man" who died and left me in a hellhole of debt and despair. His sister, my bff for 40 years, turned on me after I paid off all her brother's debts and didn't have a complete breakdown telling me that I was a "loser" and "toxic" and she didn't want to know me anymore. I have people in my life but zero friends. My dog is my closest confidente. Sad, isn't it?
I guess that would depend on how are we defining "friend" in here

I had a handful of close friends when I lived in NY, but after I moved out of state....we've been slowly drifting a part. So at this point, I feel like I have zero friends outside of my relationship. I find it hard to meet people, especially in a new area. I even joined meetup.com to see if I could find some people to hang out with, I haven't gone to a meeting yet though :/ I have online friends but I'd really like to be able to go out and do things with someone.

1.5. One real friend that I actually hang out with often and the other guy I don't really like. My and my friend don't really like the other guy because all he does is smoke weed and play video games. He also just got out of jail. As long as he keeps us out of his **** then I'm okay with him.
