So here's hoping I will not drown
Or paralyze in light
And godsend I don't want to go
To the seal's watershed

Hey Bexi - i agree with abc1234. Is your poem about god or the hope of a god? Or as the esteemed McShy would say (deity of choice..... and the rest, i forgot it) He has become quite the Mr. PC about town hasn't he - bless.
Are you scared of ending up in pergatory - 'the middle place' - i like it - it is heartfelt and symbolic - very nice.
