I was kind of in a fight, just once. It was more of struggle really. I was probably about 8 years old or something and basically this other boy was pulling my jumper sleeve and sort of spinning around. Naturally, this ticked me right off so I hit him in the face, as a I remember, and drew blood at his mouth. We both got sent to the headmaster's office.

Almost. Some white kid who thought he was a gangster told me to get out when I walked into a classroom to visit one of my acquaintances. I called him a little faggot (don't worry, I'm not homophobic anymore) and he kept telling me to "come here" so he could fight me as we exchanged insults. This was back in May 2009 when I was in grade 10. I actually see him from time to time and we (thankfully) don't say anything to each other. I didn't want to fight him because I know that if I won, he's the kind of guy that would get his gangster friends to jump me afterwards. (especially since he lives only 5 minutes away from me)

Toronto is friggin violent now. I always hear crazy stories.....

An illegal fight, no.

Once I really wanted to punch someone though. Some guy who was with another dude asked me a question in French, so I answered him in French, then he said "thank you" and left. The other dude came up to me and said: "Speak English, (b-word)". I didn't say a word, I was just too confused.

I have been bullied all my life.. I try to run if I can, or at least put myself in a defensive posture.. I never won any, I just wanted to go home..

yeah, I have been involved in a few. I never wanted any physical confrontation, so I would do my best to avert it.
I have been lucky that I was born physicaly strong and quick, so I could always mitigate any incoming damage pretty effectively and never came out physically worse off. however I just can't bring myself to go onto the offensive. every fight resulting in them giving up on the endeavour.

while I come out physicaly ok, the "idea" or thought that they wanted to hurt me was absolutely detrimental, and apon reflection, way worse than any physical injury. physical injuries heal eventually, but the psychological impact can last a lifetime.

when i was young,10 or so, i didn't have much SA and was kind of proud to be the strongest, i liked fighting and fought with others, just to see who is stronger, not to try hurt the other guy. Then at 13 14 i was in a fight, and since then i haven't fought anyone. my last years, from 14 to 18 i was good in pretending that I'm not scaired to fight and if someone came i would try to not look intimidate and even react aggressive, but somehow I always managed to escape in the last moment WITHOUT making clear that im scared. I would say I'm too coward to actually fight. only if I would be confident and have the knowledge that I'm strong, then i would defend myself.
