Favourite films/movies?

1. Harold and Maude(the only film I can watch over and over again without getting bored)
2. Jamaica Inn
3. Dr Doolittle (Rex Harrison version)
4.National Lampoon's Vacation
5. Uncle Buck
6. The Great Outdoors
7. An American Haunting
8. The Lake House
9. Big
10. Gone with the wind

I notice nobody mentioned "The Cell" with Jennifer Lopez ..

maybe it was kinda corny, but I really got into the plot. Seeing how that Staugher guy slowly got driven to being who he was .. and especially seeing how that little kid at the very beginning was obviously terrorized by his father and how he remained in a coma ...
And all the cheap looking computer graphics made everything so fun to look at.

..........

well, off the top of my head:

big fish
speed racer
terminator 2
pee wee's big adventure
robocop
the good, the bad and the ugly
castle in the sky
porco rosso
spirited away
kill bill (yeah, I classify both volumes as one movie)
total recall

...and Bande a Part

Oh wow, I LOVE that movie, but it's been years since i've seen it. I'll probably watch it again now that you mention it. It's one of the best of French New Wave.

Have you seen The 400 Blows or Cleo from 5 to 7?

I've seen The 400 Blows, but not Cleo from 5 to 7. In fact, i haven't seen anything directed by Agnes Varda yet. Perhaps later...

Btw, this: La mariée était en noir (1968) is pretty good. Especially if you're into Hitchcock.
