Does Style of Dress effect your confidence

i have a hard time finding clothes that fit comfortably. as a result if i find something that fits i tend to buy multiple of that item. to be honest the 'is that the only clothes you have' question is so old it doesnt bother me anymore (yay! i can grow out of some paranoia)
but i must admit the lack of "good clothes" still makes me paranoid when i go out. i feel underdressed. may as well be naked, least then thered be some logic to feeling so stupid.
i might make an effort to do some shopping on the weekend and get some "good clothes" see if it makes a difference.

I don't have a real personality so I've spent a lot of time trying to dress with different styles, including what I thought was what other people wear. I found nothing, still people did not accept me and I have the same confidence, zero.

Now I just wear whatever I have, usually my father's old jeans and cheap+comfortable shirts. It doesn't really matter.

I'm not especially uncomfortable around trendy people, for me it's the same. But maybe it's because I don't even know what is fashion, so probably I wouldn't even notice that someone's wearing trendy clothes lol
