yes i do, i have family, friends and counselors to talk with 🙂
i think being honest and talking about your probs is good, because you can hear other's opinions and ideas 🙂, and you can talk things off your chest 😉.
talking cures the wound, too 🙂

My Dad, he's open minded and listens to everything that his kids say. He's a wonderful father

I was just wondering if you have anyone in "real life" that knows about your problems, listens to you, somebody you can talk to? A family member, a friend, a therapist ...

no not really! most people are very judgemental and have no idea what youre goin through and are really insensitive. I feel very alone

I used to. We used to talk on the phone for 2 to 3 hours every couple of weeks, but she has withdrawn in the last 4 or 5 months. This is very sad. We have not had a falling out or anything. I have known her for over 14 years and it is hard to deal with.

Whenever I bring up Social Phobia with someone they brush it off and pretend I never even said it. Most likely because they only want friends who are in the norm.
But no not really. But luckily online there is this one guy. and of course this forum

Not really. I have work colleagues, but that's not the same, it's not really "talking" to them, it's just talking about work or occasionally chatting about random stuff. Nothing meaningful.

Online-wise, just my parents on MSN and people on these random forums I join. Though even on the forums I've been a member of for years I still don't really "know" many people or am friends with any of them. I'm just pretty crap at making friends >.>

Just my parents. My abusive friends often give me the worst advice about everything--I generally don't listen to them. *lol*

Otherwise, I don't have much social interaction.

I can talk to my parents. I don't really have much to say to them. Sometimes I open up if they start talking to me. Besides that I'm a hermit.

My younger sister always listens to me. Everyone else kind of treats me like I'm a bother.
