Do you have a mobile/cellular phone? If so, what do you have as a ringtone?

Hello peeps! I have a mobile phone, in America I think you call them cell phones! Well I only really have mine if there was ever an emergency, I don't really call anyone on it, but what I'm getting at is do you have a ringtone on it?

I always have mine to just vibrate because (this is gonna sound so stupid) I'm scared about people looking at me if it goes off, or judging me for my choice in ringtone. Most people have a favourite song as their ringtone. My taste in music is pretty bad, I don't really like any music, which I guess is pretty weird.

So yeah do you have a phone? And if you do have a ringtone for it, post it in this thread! Or better yet, put a youtube link in here of what it is!

I do have a cellphone, its a godsend. I used to hate having people ring me at my house because my family would always be asking who it was, now I just give out my cellphone number so any calls go straight to me. I've been wanting to put a personilised ringtone on but I keep forgetting i just keep it on vibrate.

Good thread idea! And actually, I jusssssssst got my very first one like, two days ago! I'm a bit behind the times of kids these days, I guess. Right now I just have mine on some generic ring sound. Well, it's not really a ring-ring, just some melodic sound. :)

Also, I definitely plan to just put it on vibrate when out in public!

I used to keep mine on vibrate, but I've had it on "low beeps" for close to five months. Not too many calls, though. I'm more worried about having someone judge me for how few contacts I have and how infrequently I speak to them.

I have an envy2, I like it and use it all the time....esp for texting. Hubby's ringtone is "Come What May" from Moulin Rouge (it was our 1st dance song) and I have a special song for my mom, sister, dad....and I think everyone else has the same ringtone.

I just have one of those built in musical ringtones. But I normally keep it on vibrate anyway, unless I'm expecting a call. I can call back if I miss anything. I don't really use my phone much anyway, so I figure if I left it on I would just forget to turn it off or silence it when I should. I hate that so much when people's phones ring in class or any other place where they shouldn't. I also hate when people have loud ring tones. I'd never download a song as a ringtone. I don't care to let the world know what music I listen to. It's not that I'm ashamed of it. Everyone has their tastes. I just feel like its nobody's business. I'm pretty sure my friends and family don't even know what music I listen to, aside from which radio stations I'm likely to turn on.

Mine is a regular, boring ol' ringtone, nothing too tacky or annoying. Then again I usually set my phone to silent/vibrate when I'm out and about.

I have one. I only use it talk to my mom when she's in the hospital, nursing home, or I'm not at home & to IM people on MSN Messeneger & use the web, mainly when I'm not at home. I do have ringtones on it & I love them. My phone rarely rings when I'm in public because my mom is pretty much the only one that calls, except for professionals (my therapist, vocational specialist, or my moms nurses, etc.) But I usually answer it quickly because I'm afraid of people asking me about my tones, since some are uncommon.

Right now, I have the opening theme of "Battlestar Galactica" set as my ringtone, but I also have the "Stargate SG-1" theme, the "Carnivale" theme, the beginning of "Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve, the beginning of "Blue Monday" by Orgy, the beginning of "Tourniquet" by Marilyn Manson, & a part of an episode of "Family Guy" where Stewie is repeatedly saying "Mom, Mom, Mom, Mum, Mum, Mummy, Mama, Mama......" lol. It's funny if you hear it.

I have a Droid, and I just keep it on vibrate. All I really use it for is to surf the internet and watch youtube vids, I don't have any friends to talk to. It's great to kill time at work when it is slow though.

I have a Nokia E71, mainly use it for emails for work and normal phone talk.

I am considering getting an iPhone or Blackberry

Just have the standard nokia ringtone, but mostly I just use the vibrator.
