Nope. I've never done wrong to anyone and try to be nice yet my luck is still horrible.

Why does your stomach hurt when you are anxious? Is it a random thing? Why is a person stressed/anxious when he thinks too much about future? Why does a liar feel guilty? Why does a person who has extramarital sex cannot face his spouse? Why does a murderer feel guilty about his actions? He could have felt happy about doing these misdeeds...but no.

Is this randomness...i(sorry i mean Buddha and many intelligent people) say there is a cause for everything that happens. It's the laws of nature to hurt a person that hurts others....someone, somewhere will give it back to him/her.

I don't mean to say Social phobics are bad people....but i do believe somewhere i am the creator of my present. If i can be good now...my future will be brighter and happier. That's my whole point.

Cause and effect is different from things happening for a "reason" in the sense you mean. Objects obey the laws of the universe and interact accordingly. If I push a glass, it moves. That's cause and effect. Slipping on the curb as I go to cross the street and missing being hit by a car isn't things happening for a "reason", it's just what we call 'luck'. There's plenty of times people slip and it wouldn't have made them miss an oncoming car. It just so happened that a car was coming this time and all of a sudden it is seen as a reason.

Implying things happen for a reason means you believe in a life having a purpose or a god having a "plan" for you. If so, then there's no such thing as free will. We are simply watching a movie of a life essentially. We would just be along for the ride.

I believe people's actions affect their own lives by determining whether they have more friends or enemies and how many things are capable of coming back to bite them in the butt, but I've also noticed a lot of genuinely good people dying or becoming ill and a lot of nasty ones prospering. Not to mention, the murder of, say, babies who are too young to really be doing good or bad things.
