Do you abuse the internet? I do, my parents say

Do you? I do, as my parents say to me. It is constant.

How many hours do you spend on net? I spend about 2-3 h at least - if my
parents let... :roll:

It's embarrassing, as the net is my only socializing place.

But i spend my time here unusefully - uselessly, I need to admit it.

But does any human spend their time totally usefully? - I ask
rhetorically... :roll:

i spend tons of time on the net because im homeschooled and stuff, so thats my only source of entertainment besides tv. its cool because its easy for me to talk to people and socialize without all that anxiety and worry..i spend prolly like half the day on here

Oh, I definitely would say that I do. I spend hours upon hours on the Internet. Looking up both useful and relatively un-useful things. I am very addicted to the Internet.

Chose 'I use it both usefully and uselessly'. I don't have much to do at home, sometimes, I'm curled up with a book if I have a good one. In the evenings, I watch prime time tv. I take naps sometimes, but usually only when I'm not feeling well or are very tired. Any time in between is usually spent on the net. I just leave the com running, even if I'm away from it, say taking a nap for 2 hrs, or run to the shops for 30 mins.

I know that I waste tons of time on the internet. I really need to focus on getting a job. :lol: Oh well. I think I got fired at my last job for screwing around on the net while at work. Hopefully that won't happen again. :roll:

yes i use it... sometimes usefully, mostly not.

all day whenever I am not busy with school is when I will be using it. I would say maybe 12-14 hours a day on weekends sometimes.

i got nothing else, what am I supposed to do?

today even the internet got really boring, I just went and took a 4-5 hour nap to pass the time.

What do parents know anyway? If there's one thing the older generation can't understand, it's the usefulness of the Internet. They seem to have huge problems grasping the fact that you can make close friends you never meet in real life. Don't let your parents define what too much time online means.
