Do Some Television Shows Peak Your Anxiety?

I think for the most part I have a healthy ironic distance from pretty much everything. American Idol-type shows make me wish I was a cat or something besides a human being.

It's mostly just certain phrases or combinations of words that act as triggers... when I hear them I just suddenly end up dwelling on things that happened like 15 years ago or something.

TMZ. I hate this show with a passion. It makes me angry and I refuse to be in the same room when it's on.

I'm with you 100% on that one. It's not even one of the shows that spark my anxiety, I just hate it for what it is.

I get anxious when there are situations on tv that remind me of things in my own life that brought me anxiety.

romantic shows make me feel sad all they do is remind me how lonely I am. I like funny shows nothing stronger than the healing power of laughter. I can`t tell you how many time when studying how to fix my soul laughter came and fix me right up.
